Dr. Julius Ofner, leader of the Liberal Party in Vienna, and the most authoritative commentator on the Austrian Legal Code, has had the freedom of the city of Vienna conferred on him. The ceremony took place yesterday at the Town Hall. Dr. Ofner, who is eighty years old, is an observant Jew and active in the affairs of the Jewish community.
