Depardieu will visit Israel in late May to promote his latest film, “I Prefer That We Remain Friends,” during a French film festival slated for May 26-June 6. Depardieu recently made headlines in his home country when, apparently drunk during an appearance on a talk show to promote his new cookbook, he insulted a fellow guest.
