French diplomats in Israel appear to be the only non-Israeli Christians in that country who will not be allowed to cross into Jordan territory Christmas, to participate in the traditional services in Bethlehem, it was revealed here today.
A dispatch from Jordan-held Jerusalem said the Amman Government had drafted a list of 2,000 Christians stationed in Israel who will be permitted to cross the lines. It includes all diplomatic and consular personnel, except the French.
