War Pensions Minister Georges Rivollet today unveiled a memorial tablet at Saint Die near Saar for Rabbi Abraham Bloch, World War Chaplain, killed in 1914 while holding a crucifix for a dying Catholic soldier. Delegations of veterans and civil, military and religious representatives took part in the ceremonies.
Minister Rivollet emphasized the unity of the adherents of all religions in France in serving the republic.
