A demand that all Jews be deported from France was voiced this week at a mass meeting in Paris, it is reported today by the Nazi-controlled Paris radio. The meeting, which was called by the “French Legion of Volunteers Against Bolshevism,” heard speakers urge that an unceasing struggle be waged against Jews “who must be regarded as belligerents in this war.”
The Vichy radio today quoted the newspaper Paris Soir as demanding stronger measures against aliens in France, “especially Polish Jews,” who, it charged, are saboteurs. Demanding the elimination of aliens, the newspaper said that “France for too long has been the dumping ground of Europe.”
