The French Government today initialed a $15,000,000 loan to Israel, it was announced here. The loan was granted as a result of negotiations conducted in Paris between David Horowitz, Director-General of Israel’s Finance Ministry, and the French Minister of Finance.
A Rumanian trade delegation left Israel for Rumania following the conclusion last week of negotiations for a series of barter agreements under which Israel will receive frozen kosher meat, wheat, timber, cattle, onions and chemicals in exchange for pennicillin, precision instruments, citrus and other products.
