The government today promulgated the decree providing for resteration of Jewish property confiscated under Vichy laws, which was adopted last month by the Consultative Assembly. It specified that measure does not apply to Alsace and Lorraine because of “special conditions of occupation there.”
Bernard Lecache, founder and former head of the International Federation of Anti-Racist Leagues, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that he is planning to revive the organization. The federation was established in 1934.
