Approval of direct negotiations with Germany for reparations to Israel and Jewish communities outside of Israel was voted here today by the CRIF, representative body of French Jewry consisting of all Jewish organizations in the country. The vote was 13 in favor and 8 against. Among those who voted against were the representatives of the General Zionists, the Jewish veterans organizations, and the Jewish Communist group.
