The French OSE Committee is supporting 490 Jewish doctors from 19 different countries who are now in France and is aiding them to rebuild their careers, according to a report received by the American OSE from Dr. Valentine Kramer, chairman of the French OSE division for child protection.
The group includes 370 men and 120 women, 171 of whom are from Poland, 94 from France, and 21 from Rumania. One hundred and fifty-six are at present permitted to practice in France. One hundred and twenty served with the French army or the resistance movement. Eighty percent of them are under 45 years of age.
