French police arrested nine more people suspected of being linked to Algerian Muslim terrorists. The raids, which follow similar arrests in five European countries late last month, are part of the French government’s attempts to boost security during the upcoming World Cup. In addition, hundreds of soldiers are helping police patrol the streets for the soccer championship, which is scheduled to begin at 10 sites across France this week.
