A CONNECTION BETWEEN ANTI-SEMITIC ACTIVITIES OF GERMAN AGENTS AND SUBVERSIVE WORK IN FRANCE WAS ESTABLISHED TODAY BY FRENCH POLICE IN THEIR SEARCH FOR BARON DE POTERRE, ALLEGED INTERMEDIARY BETWEEN THE GESTAPO (GERMAN SECRET POLICE) AND THE CAGOULARDS, HOODED TERRORIST SOCIETY.

DE POTERRE, IT WAS REVEALED, IS ONE OF 26 GERMAN AGENTS FIGURING IN A LIST SEIZED BY SWISS POLICE AT HIS HOME IN BERNE. HE IS SAID TO HAVE OPERATED UNDER THE NAMES OF FARMER, MEIKERT AND LECLEUQ IN SEVERAL COUNTRIES AS AN ANTI-SEMITIC PROPAGANDIST REPORTEDLY SUBSIDIZE BY GERMAN FUNDS, AND TO HAVE ESCAPED FROM FRANCE AFTER DISCOVERY OF THE CAGOULARDS.

POLICE INVESTIGATION FURTHER ESTABLISHED THAT DE POTERRE WAS THE CENTRAL FORCE BEHIND THE NAZI DEFENDANTS IN THE BERNE “PROTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION” TRIAL.
