French survivors marked the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Sunday’s ceremony was the first in a series of events held in France to mark the liberation of the death camp. At the ceremony, Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe pledged to make 2005 a year of Holocaust remembrance, The Associated Press reported.
