The French Zionist Federation will set up along with other local communal bodies, a network of Jewish day schools throughout France, it was announced here tonight by Victor Benvenisti, president of the Federation’s executive council.
He said that a committee will be set up for this purpose, comprising the Fonds Social Juif Unifier the Alliance Israelite Universelle, the Jewish Agency and the local communities. He called upon all Jewish communal bodies to work jointly with the Federation. He regretted that the FSJU did not participate in a meeting of the communities which took place earlier this month under the auspices of the Federation and expressed the hope for its cooperation in the future.
