Dr. Robert Stricker, noted Austrian Zionist leader, is also reported to have been transferred to Therezin and is working with Dr. Friedmann in organizing the everyday life of the Jews in the fortress, Both Jewish leaders were arrested by the Nazis shortly after the occupation of Vienna and held for a long time in the Dachau concentration camp in Germany. They were later released but not permitted to leave Nazi territory.
