Over seven hundred men and women, sympathizers of the Palestine Jewish labor movement attended a meeting on Sunday evening at the Hotel Pennsylvania which launched the founding of the League for Labor Palestine.
Twenty-nine persons were elected as members of an Executive Committee. The organization established in New York is to be the first of similar branches projected throughout the country.
The League is to be affiliated with the World League for Labor Palestine and is to work for the Federation of Palestine Labor and its institutions.
Addresses were delivered by Abraham Shiplacoff, Dr. Jehuda Kaufman, David Pinski, Mrs. Irma Lindheim, Goldie Meyerson and Isaac Hamlin.
