Funds from the United States refugee program are being channeled to two Belgian welfare organizations for their work in assisting Russian Jews who have arrived in recent weeks from Israel, a Belgian Foreign Ministry spokesman said Monday. The two organizations which are receiving U.S. funds are the Belgian branch of Caritas Catholica and the Russian emigre Tolstoy Foundation. The Ministry spokesman said there were now about 800 Soviet Jews in Belgium, most of whom hope to go to Canada and the United States.
