Private funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. David B. Kaplan, mother of Dr. Ira I, Kaplan of the Cancer Division of the Department of Hospitals, at her home, 965 Park avenue, where she died Tuesday night after a brief illness. Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery, Queens.
Mrs. Kaplan, widow of B. David Kaplan, woolen merchant who died in 1915, was active for many years in Jewish charitable, cultural and religious organizations.
