Funeral services were held today for Benjamin Winter, president of the American Federation of Polish Jews, who died Friday night at his home here. He was 63 years old. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise officiated.
Born in Lodz, Poland, Winter came to the United States in 1901 and became one of the best known Realtors in New York. He was active in the American Jewish Congress, the United Palestine Appeal and in various fraternal and philanthropic Jewish organizations.
