Funeral services are to be held today for Herman Grossman, first president of the Interantional Ladies Garment Workers Union, who died at Mount Sinai Hospital Wednesday.
Mr. Grossman, who had been ill for some time, was seventy years of age. He was elected president of the International when that organization was founded thirty-four years go, and held the office for two terms.
The funeral will be held from the Grand Concourse Funeral Home, 165 East Tremont Avenue. From there the body will be taken to the International Garment Workers Center at 3 West 16th Street, where leaders of the International will pay their last respects to the deceased. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery.
