Funeral services for Isadore Kopeloff, Yiddish writer and retired assistant treasurer of the Zimmerman Meat Company, were held yesterday afternoon from his home, 6113 Spencer Avenue.
Mr. Kopeloff died Wednesday at the age of 75, having been ill two weeks. He came to the United States from Babroisk in 1881, became active in socialist and anarchist circles, and helped found and worked on a number of Yiddish publications, including Die Freie Arbeiter Stimme, Dos Neie Leben, Die Zeit, Die Wahrheit, The Day and the Jewish Daily Forward.
Mr. Kopeloff retired in 1917, devoting all his time to the writing of three volumes of memoirs.
