Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2.30 o’clock at the Riverside Memorial Chapel for Samuel Keller Jacobs, realtor and philanthropist.
Mr. Jacobs succumbed at the age of sixty-two to an illness of two years.
Mr. Jacobs achieved particular distinction in the realty field through his purchase some five years ago of the General Motors Building for the sum of $12,000,000 becoming the only individual to own a building of such size.
He was active in a number of philanthropies, but did not desire his benefactions to become known. Among his interests were the Educational Alliance and the Home for the Aged and Infirm Hebrews, of which he was a director. Four sisters and a brother survive him.
