Funeral services will be held from Riverside Memorial Chapel at 2:30 today for Sabbatai Bulgatsch, prominent Socialist and member of the Forward Association. Mr. Bulgatsch died Friday night at St. Luke’s Hospital, of pneumonia, which set in during his recovery from injuries received November 7, when he was struck down by an automobile.
Sabbatai Bulgatsch came to this country about forty years ago. He was one of the first members of the Workmen’s Circle, holding the chairmanship of Bronx Branch 1 a number of times and taking an active part in all the organization’s conventions.
Mr. Bulgatsch is survived by his widow, Celia, and two stepsons, Isidor and Sigmund Warshauer.
