The drive of the Charity Chest of the Fur Industry for $600,000 for its 1928 allottments was launched Wednesday night at a testimonial dinner given in honor of Michael Hollander, president of the Chest.
Pledges exceeding the amount of $375,000 were announced at the dinner. About 1,000 guests, members of the Chest, were present.
The principal speaker was Aaron Sapiro, who spoke on co-operation.
