“What is the future of Jewish life in America? Is it normal and can be left to its natural course, or is it a mere transitory stage of the Diaspora life and should be artificially stimulated,” will be the subject discussed by Prof. M. Kaplan, Principal of the Teachers’ Institute of New York, at the annual conference of the Jewish Teachers’ Association, which will be held here on June 20th at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism.
The conference, in which Jewish teachers from various states will participate, will devote its sessions to the discussion of the practical and theoretic problems of Jewish religious instruction. A good part of the deliberations will be devoted to the best methods of teaching Jewish ethics in the Sunday and Hebrew schools of the country.
Dr. Henry Neuman, the leader of the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, will be the principal speaker on the subject.
