The ready-to-wear divisions of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies yesterday opened campaign headquarters in the Garment Capitol Building. Gordon V. Lyons and Matthew J. Kane, chairmen of the two sections, presided at the formal opening ceremonies.
The headquarters comprise a large floor area in the building at 205 West Thirty-sixth street. Mr. Kane, in his talk to the division members present at the opening, pointed out that this is the first time in the seventeen-year history of the Federation that a downtown headquarters had been established for the ready-to-wear division.
