World War II hero, Gen. Omar Bradley (Ret.), has accepted the Israeli government’s invitation to visit the country in September. According to a report today in the Jerusalem Post, Bradley’s top aide, Lt. Col. Thomas Kistner, said the General is looking forward to the visit. The 85-year-old five-star General and his wife, accompanied by Kistner, will tour the country for several days. The itinerary for the visit is being coordinated by the U.S. military attache at the American Embassy in Tel Aviv, in conjunction with the Israeli government.
