General Charles H. Sherrill told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today he had not as yet received the challenge from Congressman Citron and stated:

“I have already refused forty-two invitations to debate because I don’t debate a matter that is settled. The American Olympic Committee has already decided that the American team shall go to the Olympic games in Germany and eleven members of the American team for the Winter sports have already sailed.”
