Major General Yaacov Dori, Israel’s first Chief of Staff and for the last ten years president of the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, arrived here today to participate in the National Planning Conference of the American Technion Society, opening April 26 in Chicago.
General Dori will also address meetings for the Technion in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington. The three-day planning conference will bring together leaders of the organization from every section of the country, as well as from Canada, at which plans for the expansion of the Technion will be formulated.
