The Israel General Zionist Party’s annual conference concluded here late last night following the issuance of a call for the government to declare Jerusalem its capital, without delay. The parley also reelected Dr. Fritz Bernstein president of the party.
Resolutions adopted before the closing session urged the government to resist curtailment of Israel territory, fight emigration restrictions and ensure the free growth of Zionism where it is now impeded. They also urged the Knesset to adopt a Constitution, warned against the danger involved in the ruling party’s obtaining an economic advantage over the General Zionists and announced a fund-raising campaign for party purposes.
