The plenary session of the World Council of the Confederation of General Zionists, which was scheduled to open on April 12 in Jerusalem, has been postponed to a later date, it was announced here today by the European headquarters of the Confederation. The European Council will start a two-day meeting tomorrow in Antwerp, the announcement said.

The Central Committee of the Zionist Organization of France at a meeting today rejected an ultimatum received from the Confederation of General Zionists to reconsider a resolution in which it expressed solidarity with Group “B” of the General Zionists. A minority of the Central Committee thereupon walked out of the meeting and announced that it will form a new group loyal to the World Confederation.
