In addition to the gift of $2,500 presented by Joseph Scott, leading Catholic layman of this city, towards the Million Dollar Fund for the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital (Jewish) which will be dedicated May 11, and opened for patients May 14, I. Irving Lipsitch, executive director of the Jewish Federation here, announces additional gifts from Gentile citizens of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Louise E. Kerckhoff donated $5,000 yesterday, stated Mr. Lipsitch, and among the other Gentile contributors are J. E. Brulatour, Mrs. Albert Crutcher, Oscar Lawlor, Judge William S. Baird, Judge Hugh S. Crawford, the Superior Optical Co. and Dr. A. Ray Irvine, totalling approximately $13,500.
