George Backer, president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, will sail on the French liner Normandie for a short stay in Europe, during which he will attend sessions of the Council for German Jewry which meets in London next Monday. Mr. Backer expects to return on April 5.
Also on the Normandie will be Dr. and Mrs. Bruno Weil, who are returning to Germany after an extensive survey of immigration possibilities for German Jews in South and Central America. Dr. Weil will report on his findings to the Reichsvertretung, central representative body of Jews in Germany.
