Excitement over rumored activities of Nazi agents in Switzerland was climaxed today by the arrest of Wilhelm Wille, a German citizen described as an agent provocateur, while disfiguring the German consular seal with red paint.
Wille told the police he was a German refugee revenging the murder of his father by the Nazis. The Socialist newspaper, Labor, charged that Wille was a Nazi agent, declaring that he had been maintaining close contact with the Geneva correspondent of Reichsfuehrer Hitler’s newspaper, Voelkischer Beobachter. Police are investigating the charges.
