A German Jewish Chess Association is in progress of formation here it was announced today. Early last year, Jewish members were expelled from the German Chess Association and local chess clubs all over the country followed suit. Special Jewish chess clubs will be formed in Germany and will include in their membership many Jewish winners of national and international chess tournaments.
The First special Jewish chess tournament opened today at Frankfurt-am-Main.
