The German consulate here today confirmed the fact that Reich Minister of the Interior Dr. Wilhelm Frick visited Palestine. However, German consular officials refused to disclose the purpose of the visit.
On April 8 a Jewish Telegraphic Agency dispatch from Jerusalem reportea the presence of Minister Frick in Palestine. He spent two days in the Holy Land and then departed as mysteriously as he came.
During his stay in Palestine the Nazi Minister was guarded by a special detail of Palestine police. All attempts to ascertain the purpose of the sudden and unexplained visit were fruitless.
