The West German Cabinet will introduce “as soon as possible” a measure banning “publications of all kinds designed to revive National Socialist ideas and aims. ” it was revealed here. It is planned that the ban will include pro-Nazi newspapers and films.
It is understood that the immediate cause of the proposed ban is the recent documentary film depicting the life and regime of Hitler. That film was banned by the Federal Government and the Ministries of Interior of the nine constituent states of West Germany.
