The West German Government today issued a stinging rebuke to Dr. France Richter, Socialist Reich Party deputy, who last week created a scene in Parliament when he assailed the State of Israel and Germans seeking friend ship with the Jewish State.

The government statement termed Richter’s tirade an insult to Israel and said: “The Federal Government hopes that Richter’s words will go unnoticed by the world. If they are noticed, it is hoped they will be recognized for what they are – words by an unscrupulous element which has learned nothing from the past, a past which we regret.” The statement repeated expression of the Government’s intention to combat all anti-Semitic tendencies in Western Germany.
