West Germany will make available loans for rehabilitation of Israeli nationals whose ability to work or earning power was damaged as a result of Nazi mistreatment in Germany, Israel Finance Minister Levi Eshkol announced today.
According to an agreement completed by Israel and Bonn, loans up to the equivalent of $7,000 will be made available on long terms and low interest rates for Israeli victims to set themselves up in business of retain themselves. Israel is the first country outside Germany for whose residents Bonn has agreed to provide such loans.
