A West German delegation arrived here today to continue negotiations for an agreement on application of the West German restitution law for the looting by the Nazis of furniture of Jews in Belgium during the German occupation.
It was reported that the negotiations were virtually completed and that a round sum will be paid each victim. Conclusion of the agreement will take place in West Berlin where officials of the Assistance to Jewish War Victims will meet with West German officials on September 29.
Indemnities will be paid to all Jews, without regard to differences as to their nationalities, who had their furniture damaged or confiscated during a special Nazi campaign.
