The German-Israel reparations pact will not be ratified before early in February, as a result of the constitutional crisis in West Germany, the Jewish Observer, organ of the British Zionist movement, reported today.
The Observer said that the “Israel Government has now been informed that Chancellor Dr. Adenauer intends to bring the reparations agreement before the Bundestag during the second week of January. This would enable him to have the agreement with Israel rafted by early February.”
