The Federation of German-Jewish Organizations of New York was formed yesterday at a meeting which was participated in by representatives of the Center German-Jewish Club, the Prospect Unity Club o# Yorkville, the Deutsch-Israclitische# Landwehrverein and the Lessing League.
The recent developments in Germany have led to the establishment of this Federation, in order to take such united action on behalf of the membership of the represented clubs as may be deemed advisable.
Robert Rosenbaum was elected chairman, Fred Sloan, vice-chairman and Fred Bielefeld, secretary.
A committee was elected in order to establish contact with other Jewish organizations.
