Dr. Georg Mendelsohn, well known German Jewish research worker in the field of medicine, died here yesterday.
Dr. Mendelsohn was held in high esteem in the medical profession in Germany since 1903 when he discovered the first case of the Indian Pest in Berlin. Due to this discovery the German metropolis was saved from the pest.
