A number of prominent Jewish actors have united in order to create a German theater in Vienna, composed of actors who are refugees from Germany. Various Jewish organizations in Vienna are supporting the effort of the Jewish actors.

The actors hope to acquire the Ncue Wiener Buehnne, a theater which has been closed for some time, and to produce classic modern repertoires with special attention to the works of Jewish authors.
