A call for the naming of a “personality of Cabinet rank” as coordinator and expediter of the German Government’s indemnification program was voiced today by the Central Council of Jews in Germany. The council said such an appointment would speed up the lagging indemnification program.

In another resolution, the Council called for victims of the Nazis to receive at least the same benefits and priveleges now extended to ethnic Germans expelled from East Europe.
