Solution of the question of the Jews in Germany is possible without emigration from the National Socialist Nazi State, according to a statement made by Dr. Leo Loewenstein, president of the Union of Jewish Front Fighters, in the Schild, official organ of the union.

“The thousands of young Jews who are organized in the Youth League of our union,” writes Dr. Loewenstein, “are, as we older people are, filled with the belief that the German Jews have had for centuries past only one fatherland and this fatherland is Germany.

“For this fatherland we have fought in all its wars, since the time military service was inaugurated; we have shown ourselves to be men in the exercise of the supreme duty and the supreme privilege of the homeland.

“Our youth is convinced, as we are convinced, that solution of the Jewish question is possible within our homeland, at least if racial differentiation does not denote racial defamation which we repudiate as unjust on the grounds of our equal born achievement.”
