The Jerusalem correspondent of the “Berliner Tageblatt” Dr. Reifenberg writes to his paper that the report of the Palestine Inquiry Commission has greatly disappointed the Palestine Zionists. Dr. Reifenberg believes that the Zionists made a mistake by attacking the Palestine Administration and thus caused the administration to influence the commission against the Zionists. In this connection he shows that Sir Walter Shaw, the chairman of the commission, was formerly a government official.
Dr. Reifenberg believes, however, that through the Jewish Agency a new economy is being created in Palestine which Arabs will not be able to destroy. He believes that the Zionists should unite Arabic economic interests with their own colonization work.
