A resolution to join the decision of the Jewish Agency leaders in London regarding the British White Paper on Palestine was adopted tonight at a meeting, called on the initiative of a committee of the Jewish Agency, with 70 Jewish leaders in Germany, under the chairmanship of Oscar Wasserman, German Jewish leader and president of the Deutsche Bank, attending.
The resolution expresses hope that the negotiations now going on between the Jewish Agency leaders and the British government under the chairmanship of Foreign Secretary Arthur Henderson will lead toward a restoration of Jewish confidence. The meeting emphasized the determination of the Jews to continue the up-building work in Palestine, notwithstanding all hindrances. The meeting also decided to create branches of the Jewish Agency in every city in Germany.
