An order that scientific libraries should not destroy books written by Jews was issued today by the Prussian ministry of education. The order stated, however, that the libraries should be careful not to loan these books to applicants unless they proved they needed them for serious scientific work.
The ministry of the interior today issued a similar order for all community libraries throughout Germany.
