Dr George Haueser, head of the criminal police section of the State of Rheinland-Pfalz, was suspended from his post today on charges of directing the Nazi extermination of Jews in the Minsk area during World War II.
The suspension was announced by the State Ministry of the Interior. Dr. Haueser was placed in the Hohenberg prison, near Stuttgart, on charges filed by the Central Commission for the Investigation of Nazi Crimes.
