The swelling list of memoirs and other literary works glorifying or explaining away the Nazi Leaders has been increased with a number of books recently issued by the publishing house of Kurt Vowinckel of this city.
The most recent is the “Experiences and Observations of a War Criminal,” by Dr. Julius Lippert, former Mayor of Berlin, sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment as a war criminal who served in the top levels of the Nazi occupation machinery in Belgium, Other “authors” published by Vowinckel include; Hans Fritzche, one time deputy to Joseph Goebbels; Konstantin Hierl, chief of the Nazi “Reich Labor Service,” and Peter Kleist, who “proved” that hardly any Jews were killed by the Nazis.
